Empty your cup EVERY DAY.
What does this mean? It means, empty out the expectations and baggage you carry around with you every day, and just experience life assuming that anything can really happen.
Imagine your body like a cup. Your life experiences fill up your cup like water. Your body internalizes these experiences, and if you are aware and motivated, does positive things with them. After you’ve enjoyed and learned from the experiences, you better empty out your cup so you can fill up with more experiences.
If you walk around carrying all the baggage from past days, weeks, months and years….how on Earth do you expect to learn or experience ANYTHING new or exciting? It would be impossible. Most people walk around mostly filled up with garbage that doesn’t serve their own goals or those of the people they care about.
Instead, every morning, empty your “cup” and learn something new. You definitely be less stressed. You’ll also be in a much more receptive mood to learn and contribute.
